January 20, 2009.
Happy Obama Day! I wish I was at home watching all the action instead of trying to look busy at the information desk. I found the session on Wikis enlightening, and really enjoyed browsing the Library Success Wiki. As a result I have joined the Librarians Without Borders group, and have volunteered to edit content for the Gutengerg Project.

The library is very quiet lately, probably due to the bus strike so it's nice to have this course available, although it could be a little more demanding.

News for January 8, 2009.

I love working at the library. Everytime I check the shelves or displays I find something else I want to read. Today it was a new translation of a book by Irene Nemirovsky, the author of Suite Francaise. The book is "The Courilof Affair," about a plot to assasinate the Russian minster of Education during the time of the Czar.
